Phil is proud to have grown Grimsey to where it is today. He's enjoyed watching his clients develop and succeed, many of them moving through parallel life stages with him. Outside of work Phil enjoys theatre and the arts, fine dining and spending time with his family.

Graduating in 1977, Tony worked in private industry and for the Taxation Office before joining Grimsey in 1988. He became a partner in 1992. He enjoys the dynamic challenge of constantly changing work days, and is proud of the pharmacy practice he's worked hard to develop. In his spare time Tony coaches a junior football side, no doubt presently grooming the next set of legends for his beloved Essendon Football Club.

Paul joined Phil and Tony as a partner in 1992. He enjoys the relationships he has built with his clients over the years, and is committed to ensuring Grimsey continues to be as well respected and highly regarded into the future as it is today. With three children under 10, Paul doesn't have a whole lot of spare time, but when he does you'll probably find him spending it near water – preferably at an international destination!

Daniel joined us during his 3rd year of university via the RMIT industry placement program. Once qualified, he came back and went on to successfully grow our Financial Planning Department. His ambition and drive have been a perfect fit with a practice he describes as 'prepared to adapt, constantly innovate and come up with new and creative solutions for clients', and he became a partner in 2008. He enjoys fishing, golf and spending time with his family – though not necessarily in that order, having just become a first time Dad!

Matt joined us after graduating from university in 1996. In this time he has developed specialized knowledge of the tax and business planning needs of health professionals. Matt likes being part of a 'dynamic and progressive firm that offers clients a diverse range of consulting services'. In his spare time Matt, enjoys spending time with his family, sport and savoring a good red wine with fellow wine appreciators. He also is actively involved in local activities like Auskick and his children's schools.

Monty has been with us for nearly 8 years. Having worked in only one other firm for six months, we figure we must be doing something right! Monty must be the 'Accountant's Accountant', if there is such a thing, because he just loves accounting and always has – knowing what he was going to do since junior high school. He also enjoys his interaction with clients and working in a 'co-operative, relaxed environment'. When not at work, Monty enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, playing soccer, music and movies, and socializing.

Renata joined Grimsey straight out of university and is still with us ten years later. What keeps her here? A nice working environment, a good group of people sharing the same vision, and the relationships she's developed with her clients over the years. When not at work, Renata enjoys spending time with her partner and friends, watching sport, going to concerts and listening to music.

Seb joined us straight out of university and is still here eight years later. He loves the work culture at Grimsey, but it is the challenging nature of his work and the firm's multi disciplinary approach that keep him happy in his career here. Seb's a keen sportsman, playing football and soccer in his spare time.

Dorothy worked for several chartered firms, as well as in private industry, before joining us at the end of '08. She was attracted to the firm by the opportunities it presented for diversification. She enjoys being presented with different challenges on a daily basis. In her spare time Dorothy likes spending time with her husband and her friends, cycling and shopping – which all got more do-able since discovering our commitment to work/life balance is...genuine!

Dario is a recent addition to the team, having joined us straight from university in '08. He likes the friendly culture at Grimsey and the social interaction with his peers. Career-wise, his current focus is on becoming CPA qualified. Outside of work Dario enjoys catching up with friends over coffee and socializing.
