We abide by the Private Sector provisions of the Privacy Act (Cwth)1988. We generally only collect personal information directly from you. We may collect personal information about you from third parties where you have authorized us to collect information in this way.
Web Privacy
This website only uses session cookies which allow us to identify your browser while you are using the site. Cookies do not identify you - they simply allow us to track usage patterns for gauging interest.
This site contains links to other web sites which may or may not adhere to a privacy policy.
Uses:
We only use your personal information for the purposes for which you give it to us and for related, internal management purposes, including but not limited to:
- Preparation and lodgment of taxation returns
- Business Activity Statements and Company returns
- Preparation and implementation of your financial plan
- Securing finance and insurance on your behalf
We only disclose your personal information to third parties where:

- You would reasonably expect us to
- We have advised you we will
- We are obligated or authorized by law to do so
This could include disclosing your personal information where it is necessary to give effect to your financial plan; for example to Superannuation Fund Trustees, Insurance providers and Investment Product suppliers.
Additionally, as financial services providers, we may be legislatively required to make records available to certain statutory bodies. For example, under the Corporations Act, ASIC may require access to certain transaction records.
We may also use your information for the purposes of direct marketing where we believe the material will be of interest or use to you. If you do not want to receive direct marketing material from us, you may opt out by contacting our Privacy Officer.
Storage and Security
We take all reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we collect and hold about you is not misused, lost or improperly disclosed. As a comprehensive financial services provider, we recognize that much of the information we collect is of a sensitive nature. Accordingly, we regard all your personal information as highly confidential.
Your personal information is held in hard copy form in your client file, and electronically on computer database.
Our computers are protected by fire walls, anti virus software, cookie removers and are pass-worded. In the case of sensitive information, access is restricted to key senior staff.
Electronic files are backed up twice a week and again each month, when they are transferred off site and stored at a secure location.
Access
We do our best to ensure personal information we hold about you is up to date and accurate at all time.
To help us achieve this, we ask that you keep us informed of any changes to your details or relevant information.
You may request access to your file at anytime and we will arrange a mutually convenient time for inspection at our offices.
If you believe that any of the personal information we hold about you should be changed because it is inaccurate, outdated or incomplete, please contact our Privacy Officer.
Dispute Resolution
We will promptly and thoroughly investigate any complaint you may have about a breach or potential breach of this policy or the relevant provisions of the Privacy Act.
Please contact our Privacy Officer if you have a complaint. We will investigate and respond to you within fourteen days of receipt. If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of our investigation, you may refer your complaint to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
